I had those on my '99 and they were very useful. They don't seem to have them for my 2016 AC though.

Yah. Redarc trailer break controller. Plug and play install with the control module hidden behind the dash. Bought the extended 13’ harness for the knob/dial to put it in the overhead panel.

I've officially owned it for 3 months today. Put 7000 miles on it in that time but that includes a 3000 mile trip home to PA and back for Thanksgiving.

Spent the day in Pensacola. Took a couple pics. Wished I could cruise onto the beach.

Check this thread for more. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tailgate-light-bar.581065/page-2#post-26392059

Links to light bar & harness I used for install making it plug and play. Removed the doubled side tape and swapped for dual lock Velcro so I can still access the spare tire crank. Bonus also gained a 5 pin trailer connector if ever needed by just unplugging the light bar.

I had the gear done at San Diego Gear and Axle in El Cajon. .I don't have enough miles on them yet to make a full judgment, but so far it seems good.

It's about 1200 one way. Then driving around seeing everyone adds up quick.

Just got in my Alpha Rex Nova LED lights today. No pics yet cause, I'm not sure when I'm going to do the install. So glad I chose winter time in Michigan to get them.

    Minor stuff.
Took the family to the Strasburg Railroad to get our Christmas Tree tonight. Train takes you to the lot to pick out your tree. They put it into an old flat car and then head back to the station. It was really nice. Well worth the 2 1/2 hr drive. Kids had a great time.
