Finally my 7 days of work is done get tomorrow off then back at it again Monday for another 6days.

 

We have always made a day of getting our Christmas tree. Heading to a tree farm, finding our tree, singing ‘Oh Christmas Tree’ as the tree is felled. I’ve been going to Beisels Tree farm in Lehighton for 40 years. They are probably closing in 2022, thanks for all the memories.

Speaking of work and having a great time, I replaced the shuttle shift trans and torque converter in my dad's JD 210C today. That thing has lasted quite a while, my dad bought it the same year I was born!! Time to band the old greasy pig up and ship it back for the core charge


A much needed beer tonight to unwind!

 

A knuckle sandwich, I've seen them dished out at an all you can eat buffet at a few bars in my day, the reaction is about the same too

Green ones are sucky as hell, time for bed LOL. I think green skittles are expired limes.

Sunday, the day of rest for hunters which means I get to ride the bike in the state woods without fear of getting popped! If you ride single track fast enough, it's not a change from a normal day

 

Morning pa peeps day off and still wake up at 430am. Yayy.. enjoying a nice cup of coffee. And got the pup laying by my feet.

Ended up getting some unfortunate news late last night. A good friend of mine from my childhood took his own life 2 days ago. I knew he had moved out of state and my other buddy told me he spoke to him regularly and said how much he was liking living down in south Carolina. It's definitely been a wild year for sure. This is now the 4th friend that I have lost from suicide in under a year. This is bonkers

Wow Matt, sorry to hear. I lost a co worker a few years ago, never saw it coming, sad. Always wished he would of said something, there is plenty of help out there. Have a good day,, enjoy ur time off.

 

Yea was just talking to my buddy that told me about it. I said the problem with us men is we hold everything inside. No good.
