Nothing like taking it easy. He would have been better off if he would have got a run at it and jumped the whole thing.

My RCVs came with an orange boot.
Shape looks the same as a black one I saw posted.
    These are heavy.

Idk. Hard to pass on 20 minute trail repair and a $80 Napa replacement

IDK why someone wheeling hard wouldn't have at least one spare even with extended length.

Cost. I have +2 934s and keep gutted CVs to plug the holes on the off chance I break one. I doubt I will though.

Semi related question. What’s the actual suspension cycle of these LT kits?

Same. It's a lot cheaper to just plug the holes and limp off the trail. But I don't forsee breaking a 934 anytime soon.

i agree.. I’m not LT and don’t wheel really hard, still have a spare...

Mid travel accomplishes everything for me. I just want LT for the COOL factor..

It is interesting you've had such a different experience with Big Mike. My kit arrived after 6+ Months and whenever I called with a technical question they simply would not get back to me. Had to take parts to a machine shop to get them modified to work with what was included in the kit. Informed Big Mike of this, he just never responded. No follow up. NOTHING.

Mike's only available if its an event he can hype is stuff. He fishes more for compliments than feedback.

Finally got the 'actual' install video posted up last night. I'd say I only shot about 50% of the installation progress (I was wrenching a bit too). There were so many details that we wanted to include but the vid would've wound up being an hour and a half. This kit as you all know isn't just a standard bolt on remove and replace deal... You better have a good place to work and a healthy set of tools including a welding machine and skills to match. I think until Big Mike starts making relationships with shops that will install the kit it will continue to be a highly specialized boutique kinda product that only serious rock crawler types will buy. That being said, it's still stupid cool and I can't wait to see it in action.

Finally recieved my kit, or most of it anyways.
Ordered Mar.1st and recieved this past Tues Dec.7th. I still need to inventory the misc. parts box but I do know the brake lines are on back order and still waiting on them. 20211210_143612.jpg

Wow you can order brake lines from G and J aircraft in Ontario and get them mailed out that same day
