Sooo the rear end on my 07 DCLB is totally uneven. I did a lift kit a little over month ago (bilstien 5100 @2.5, 1.5 wheeler's progressive AAL) and had the truck all level except about a 1/4-1/2 "taco lean". I use the truck for work and I ended up loading about 1500lbs of slate into the bed about a week ago. When the bed was loaded the rear end was sagging pretty hard and after unloading it the right side seems to have come all the way up but the left is sitting about 1" lower. It had a brand new leaf pack put in due to a recall at the beginning of 2016 and I left the overload leafs in when I installed the AAL. My rear shocks are pretty worn out (about 105k on them) but I'm not sure that could be effecting this. Has anyone had a problem like this before? What can I do to diagnose/fix this problem?

    Posting pics later today.

So with the Taco lean factored in, it's still another 1/2" or so lower on driver side?

I'm guessing you did a visual check on the leaf packs to make sure nothing shifted? Not really sure what would shift and drop...unless the u-bolts were slightly loose and the locating pin jumped out of the hole and is creating 1/2" of LIFT on the passenger side (or it finally got IN the hole on the drivers side and dropped 1/2")...the passenger side becoming lifted makes more sense in this scenario as it'd create the true uneven situation (outside the normal lean) where as the driver side changing and getting aligned with the hole, if it wasn't originally, would only put the truck at the normal 1/2" taco lean.

You could also try jacking up the truck by the frame, letting the rear suspension droop out and see if that resets things, and IF by odd chance it does, go back and ensure everything's tightened down as that'd indicate somethings loose.

Only other thought that comes to mind is the bed itself dropped, either by compressing a mount or deforming the bed, but that seems unlikely.

Google Taco Lean. It's a common problem. You'll most likely need a 1/2" spacer on the driver side to correct it.

I know about the taco lean, or at least I thought I did, I never thought it affected the rear end of the truck much and I've always heard it was about 1/4-1/2 inch low on the driver side...I have a full inch discrepancy on my rear end with an empty tank. I'm going to try jacking up that side to see if the leafs sort of reset with no weight on them, if I have time maybe ill just take out the leaf pack to check it then reinstall it to see if that helps. Thanks for the help guys

I'd try to loosen and retorque all 6 leaf bolts AT RESTING position and see if that helps.

Anything ever come of this? I have a 2015 DCLB and my right rear side is a full inch lower as well.
