I went to college with a Benjamin Dover. I don't know what his parents were thinking.

My wife had a patient in the ER years ago. Their name was pronounced Shi-theed but it was spelled Shithead. Just horrible.

I don't know how everybody feels but I'm watching less and less tv these days, but I do love the Expedition Overland series on youtube. It's wholesome, outdoors based, good values. It's exactly the way I plan on bringing my kids up.

Good on you, keep your kids away from the media pollution!

I was never much of a TV watcher and haven't turned the TV on just to see what is on in at least 25 years.

We live on top of a mountain and in the analogue TV days could receive about 35 channels on an antenna. When the Telecommunications Act shut down analogue TV most of the stations were lost. After about converter/tuner box #8 (they are all junk) died we lost the few channels that we had so we haven't had a working broadcast TV in 3-4 years. Lots of DVDs however.
