I am in East Providence. When we bought we were looking in the 200-225 range in late 2017. If we went 4 seconds to the east we'd be in Seekonk. The same house in Seekonk would have been 400 ish. We looked at one in Rehoboth but it was the same idea, the property values in mass are insane. Don't know what or why but yeah we avoided that. We landed in East Providence. It's worked out well enough so far.

Don`t forget the roads here are better with snow once the potholes get filled with ice and snow!

That last part is true, while I love to drive in the snow, almost no one up here in the North East likes to drive in it, or deal with it after it has stopped falling. I have a few words for them, but whatever, if you don't feel confident driving in snow, stay home!

    I am exceedingly boring geographically.

I was born south of Boston. I moved to another town south of Boston. When my dad passed me moved to a third town south of Boston. I went to college in Boston, then moved back home south of the city. I met someone who also lived south of Boston their entire life. We got married and moved into the town directly between where we both went to high school. I legitimately work five minutes from the hospital I was born in. The vast majority of my family on both sides live south of Boston, it's wild.

Once snow stopped cancelling school I was over snow. I have a particular distaste for rust, so road salt and I aren't at the best of terms.

Honestly, I can't disagree with that, I hate dealing with rust on my truck, and whenever I see it somewhere, I either clean it up and paint it, or cover it with Fluid Film/WoolWax/Surface Shield and try to stop it. Thankfully I have a new frame, and I want to keep it as nice as possible for as long as possible, but I enjoy driving in the snow to much to keep my truck out of the white stuff (snow and salt)!

What are the cost of these? There are probably different sizes, right?

Once you buy some kind of a pizza cooker oven you start doing the math on when your “break even” date is. I have the Weber pizza kettle for my weber classic grill it allows me to make a wood fire pizza at about 800°F it’s fantastic. I won the grill for free as a prize so buying the pizza kettle add-on was equal to the price of the grill which made it a no brainer plus it’s made in the USA out of Massachusetts. I have plenty of wood. I cut seasoned oak into hockey puck size pieces to burn for the pizza. I make my Own dough out of tip 00 flour and semolina 3:1. I try to do it at least once a month. It’s so good. Also tailgating pizzas are a great thing.

I am in the same position. Only time I can tolerate winter here, is during/immediately after a significant snow event, brings something visually to the dead landscape.
I kind of enjoy driving in the snow myself, as long as I'm not trying to get to work, and tripping over morons.

I'm coming up on 5.5 years here... and I think coming up on the longest I've lived in one place. I've been ready to go for a while.....

We originally got the propane pizza que maybe 7-8 years ago because we couldn't find any good pizza by us. It's all dogshit terrible house of pizza style pizza. Used maybe used it once or twice a month pre-giblets as we'd just go out on Fridays. Ever since putting babies in my woman we've used it almost every Friday, so I figure the old one paid for itself years ago, and the new one will pay for itself in about a year.

I also usually make my own dough. Either some day with instant yeast if I'm lazy, or more typically the past year I've been using my sourdough baby batter (starter) and doing a 36 hour cold proved sourdough dough.

I don't spend a lot of time down there. Beach is kind of out of the question I guess....

I've got another friend who has one of those. He's made some great pizza in it. For now I'm still using a ceramic stone in my gas oven or on my pellet grill/smoker.

No doubt, they love helping roll out the dough and make their own pizzas.
