When I first got her, I opened the throttle all the time. Now I'm more worried about making her last and saving gas. She only gets 13.2 miles to the gallon. perks of running M/T's

I only have a 2.7L so it doesn't really get me anywhere. I harrass it enough when I go wheeling that I baby it on paved roads. But for some reason it likes to cruise at 75mph on the freeway

So since we're talking about driving it like a race car, how often do you guys ever use your ETC power? (for those of you that have one) I usually only use it to accelerate a little faster getting on the freeway in pre-rush hour, which is rare with my schedule. Everyone here is crazy when it comes to merging. Otherwise it just sits there unused.

I used to all the time...n now every so often I do. But that's the reason why I'm going to buy a honda prelude...to run the crap out of tht car n save some money on gas while the truck sits @ home lol

 

I modded mine to be a race car. So i have no choice.

I was wondering. Usually those track surfaces can be very slimey for street tires.

Do you have the rear locker too? Do you use it on runs?

 

Thanks for sharing man. Looks like it would be fun in a Tacoma. I used to do it casually years ago in a '69 Mach 1 with a 428 cobra jet and auto. Lots of fun but it woulda been real nice to have more than one wheel driving the car.
