I installed a new front actuator and the 4x4 light continues to blink. The front wheels won’t engage while the truck is moving. I now have to shut the truck off, put the truck in 4low, and start the truck to get the actuator to engage. The 4low will disengage while the truck is moving. Any thoughts on what is wrong part a fix. Fuses were checked and they weee all good.

Thanks for the link. I’ll definitely try to see where the problem lies. I now have a starting point.

I had the same problem with mine (2015, all stock running gear). Now I stop the truck, leave engine running, put the transmission in neutral, push in the clutch pedal and shift in to desired position (4W-high, 4W-low, 2W-high). Then put transmission in 1st and drive off. All good after that. It used to take a couple times to come out of 4W-low, but it works well now. No more stuck in or out of position.

BTW I bought the truck in 2019 with 63k miles on it already so I don't really know it's maintenance/use history. Other than there is a lot of caked on mud on the under side of the vehicle. But no dents, so that's good. Also now if I haven't used 4W in the past month I'll run it for about 15 miles in 4W-high, then switch to 4W-low for about 1/4 mile when returning home. I did the 4W-low close to home as it would frequently not shift out of 4W-low and I have to work at it a bit. I didn't like the idea of having to drive miles on city streets in 4W-low. Since doing the monthly routine I haven't had any more shifting issues.
