I'm not sure where he lives but for me, priority was keeping snow out of the box so a Lomax tonneau cover was first, followed by N-Fab Podium steps.

After that I 3D printed new radio knobs, tossed in a back seat cover for the bulldog, a glove box organizer and window visors. None of those items will break the bank.

Bed mat. Im sure multiple people have reccomended this already.

No matter what his personal taste on modding his tacoma, bed mat will always be useful and shouldn't conflict with his end result goal.

It's probably hands down the most used for what it was truly intended "mod" you will buy.

I swear those are impossible to find for the short beds. It must be because of the chip shortage. lol

I ordered a short box mat from a dealership in NC when they had a sale on them and free shipping. They sent me a long box mat, then paid to ship that one back and send me the short box mat. I don't think they made much on that transaction. When I got a hold of them, the guy said he had shipped out 14 mats that day.

I ordered one with free shipping from a dealership in Kentucky then out of nowhere they canceled my order. Since then, every time I searched all I can find is the long bed mat. I haven't looked for a month or so because I put some other things higher on my list, but I'll probably get back to it after Christmas.

Well, I just searched for PT58035050 and they seem to be available again with free shipping over $75. I'll have to put the word out to my loved ones that will make a great stocking stuffer. Though I'm gonna need a bigger stocking.

The one that comes on the TRD Pro (TRD Factory exhaust) is the mellowest one. Adds a little just so you know it's aftermarket, but supposedly no drone. Borla S Type catback also seems rather mellow, a little louder than the TRD. If you want obnoxiously loud with drone go with carven, mbrp, or magnaflow surprisingly. I'll be going with the TRD one soon.
