New from the PNW

So this is my second Toyota ever. 2021 PRO in Lunar Rock. First Toyota truck was a 1986 SR5 extra cab back in 1988. Traded my 2020 Power Wagon in for this, so kind of a weird step up and down at the same time. Picked it up as a "used" CPO with 25 miles on it and so that means it came with the extra long powertrain warranty plus the full 3/36 still. No complaints there for sure. Never figured out why Toyota would sell a brand new truck in this market as a CPO just because they bought it from a Toyota dealer auction. They even had a few other that were considered "used" with less mileage. Changed out the tires already to Wrangler Ultraterraines 265/75/16 and sold the brand new factories to my son for his 2017 TRD offroad. Enjoyable truck so far coming from a few other full size trucks. Definite plus and minuses though between the Power Wagon and Raptor I came from.

Not the best pic of the tires. Much better than the stock though. Speedo reads 2mph slower than actual now. I swear it seems like dealers throw the predator steps on every new truck.

So dealers are buying from each other now, and selling as CPO? That is crazy.

 

Yeah it's crazy. They had a 2022 four runner PRO in the new lime green with 11 miles on it and selling it as used CPO. They picked it up the same way, came from dealers in the midwest.

 

That is a gorgeous color!

Welcome and nice to see that skewp with that grill...the OEM on mine is nice but the vintage Toyota is handsome.
