I’ve banked so much vacation time at work I’m taking Mondays and Fridays off for the rest of the year so I had a busy weekend. Washed the truck, fixed the pavers by the pool door landing, cleaned out and trimmed up the split leaf philodendrons, transplanted stuff in the pool cage, shredded about 8 months worth of receipts and credit card offers, replaced the brickmold on the garage side entry door and cleaned off the driveway. I worked right through nap time today!

Almost forgot, put up the Christmas wreaths and rebalanced my 401K too

Haha! Worst part is unloading all the stuff, so I can even see the disposal. Then loading it all back in the wrong order.

We mulch the leaves back into the lawn and put a 2in covering in the vegetable garden. Leaves collect between the shed line and the neighbor's fence. Those we blow to the curb for leaf removal services.

Going to visit my lunch partner today. He fell and cracked his pelvis plus as an added feature broke his thumb. He is in therapy for a few weeks. Taking him some Christmas cookies and a coffee. Then off to ACE for a propane tank refill. Not a busy day today at all.

We switched from Phizer to Moderna for the booster. Sore arm for a couple of days, only noticable when sleeping on it or touching it. Had a little numbness in my face, mostly eyelids and nose. The Phizer had made my eyelids cold right after both shots. So a similar reaction, I guess. Good luck.

Edit: Hey, the edit of your quote worked. First time that has happened. I must be getting techy...lol

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Peoples! Sun looks to be coming out this morning, and we might get the upper 60's! By end of the week, the 80's! Got to love Central Texas weather. Looks like I work on putting the headlight back in, and the front back together today. Other stuff can wait a day or two until it warms up again. Have a great day!

Did Moderna for 1st 2 shots back in March or April and then the booster last week. 1st shot was nothing but after the second shot and the booster I felt like someone was driving spikes through by knees hips elbows and shoulders. Luckily that lasted less than a day in both cases.

Wife had her booster last week. Very sore arm but I think it was how and where it was done not from the vaccine. Chills 4 hours later with aches and tired. I’m starting to feel a little “off”…

I had the Moderna booster last month.
Sore arm and very slight fever.
2nd shingles shot was a lot worse.

Maybe my wife and I must be in the placebo group. Two Modernas, and not a thing, except a little slow the next day. Third Moderna booster (the original full strength!), and not a thing, except slow again. Our son got a booster strength booster, and was low on appetite and slow for a week!

Never heard of it. But I do recall sitting over the tire hump on the school bus listening to the broken snow chain slam into the floor. It broke a hole eventually so naturally somebody had to stick a pencil in there just to see what happened...

I read that article too today! I have to say, I never saw a GM with it in Michigan. One year only! And not too many sold....
