Dope. I had two deployments to the PI when I was in group but none to Indo or Malaysia. I had an uparmored turbo diesel Hilux there and it was a great rig to drive.

 

Was up man? I’m on leave from 18 dec - 3 Jan so I’m down minus actual holidays!

 

Yeah lots of stuff got canceled due to COVID. Spent a lot of time in quarantine and getting tested and working visas. It was fun but glad to be home!

 

PI was dope man we had a blast. My buddy was from Manila so had a personal translator/ tour guide. Indo was a little more joint, strategic and operational level stuff same with Malaysia. But the SOF dudes took us out for awesome local food and a few trips Offroad and to some islands. Those hilux are sweet. Also got to see some sweet version of humv with king shocks and upgraded setups.

 

i too will be on leave during this time minus the 2 days i flfy to va and back

 

That looks good man. I need To do mine soon as well since lights are crap and want to smoke or black them out. I like Sequential look as well.

I was just installing new brake rotors and pads and new wheel spacers I got over Black Friday. The lugs on the new spacers seem short and the lug nuts that came with them are not completely on the threads. I've got red loctite on it but it still doesn't seem legit to me. Any suggestions? Longer lugs?

 

That is typical of toyota front studs. I have about that much thread engagement on my volks. You can swap out the studs if you want to go through that process.

I have the same setup. you will be fine just check torque on the spacers 80 ft/lbs every time you rotate your tires .

 

aaaannnnnd nothing like a union strike right when im trying to scrounge up money and find a place to buy/rent. today was day 1 of 10 in a 10day max sympathy strike.


ive only been a unionized worker for 9months now, and i was wondering when this time would come. i didnt expect myself having to strike for someone elses contract.
