If you currently have a race standard setup and already have trimmed the steering stop would I need to get one untrimmed? I just grabbed the +2 expo kit and was wondering this.

Yes you would need to get a new one to utilize the steering stop on the expo arms.

Could you please explain the difference between the +2 standard long travel and the +2 expedition long travel kit? Thanks!

Also first page talks about the expo. The old race and expo are boxed and lighter and more clearance than the standard setup. The way the uniball attaches is different as well.

TC can confirm but when I had compared them those were the main items. The standard i think is about 15lbs heavier, has less ground clearance and the expo are pre tabbed for up to 3.0 shocks as noted. If you had the old race (currently what i have) vs expo you get better turning too. I think this may apply to the standard but not 100% sure.

How far forward will this kit move the front wheel forward, away from the cab?

by default, iif anything it moves them closer to the cab but you can crank out the caster up to 6 degrees. If your goal is clear for tires may not be the best option as you will have other areas of clearance you will need to factor, fenders, wheel well, etc.

The actual arm won't affect this measurement to the point where anyone would notice. You will need a body chop depending on year and model of your vehicle, wheel size, tire size, ect. bank on needing the body chop if you are considering this setup however. Very unlikely it won't need to be cleared.

@TOTAL CHAOS would a delta joint retrofit work on this setup? i assume it would work with the arm physically, but do you know if with the increased travel, will there be limitations to the delta joint that would effect the kit from operating how it supposed to?

Our suspension is designed to work a uniball. Our findings don't support that the delta joint would support the weight and abuse that it would go under for this application and we don't think the taper would be correct for this as well.

I would have to go look. Are you running LT coilover that would be an easy sign? They do not use the same coilvers. If you are running 6" coilovers then they are stock length.

they do have some visual differences... look on their website at the two products... if there are secondary shock mounts, that's an easy item to pin point.. the stock length secondary is more off the main arm vs the 2+ arms where the secondary is primarily on the arm.. look where the bump pad is..
