Sorry was talking about the 4.0. That oil filter is on top of the engine between the battery and the engine cover.

 

Need better pictures. I can't see the tow straps between the Taco and the 3 CHEEPS.

Funny enough, out of all 6 vehicles, 5 of which were Jeep’s, on 35’s or 37’s and triple locked, I was the ONLY one that came out without body damage… same trails and everything!! I’ve owned this truck for 3 years and it continues to surprise me…

2009 Toyota Tacoma Access Cab 4x4 purchased new in 2009 & just celebrated 99k The event, which featured an oil change & Grease job which is performed every 5k (or as close as possible) When picking up the oil filter at the dealership, a manager asked if i were interested in selling, she offered 13k,== tempting! any opinions?

using the key programming device I linked to above, I read that you can program 2 master keys and 1 valet key. I have no idea how the valet key is different than my master keys. On my old TL the valet key would not open the glove compartment. But I don’t see any use for it on the Tacoma. So far the 3rd key I programmed does everything the other 2 keys do.

This is a universal flip key I bought on AliExpress.

I actually programmed it all first to make sure everything worked before getting it cut.

I have the dot on the key which I believe is also call the g chip or 4d67

it’s just a flip key to get more likes on tacomaworld

 

I finally did the restrictor jet mod, it was stuck on the bypass valve. It’s a tight area but I got it off and it drop and hit the ground, oh wells lol. I didn’t get to try it out yet but I plan to this weekend. Does both ends need to be clamped? Or just on the supercharger side?

I installed some SDHQ Ditch Light mounts with some Rigids. I initially wanted to use the set of BD S2's I have because of the lower profile, but interfered with the snorkel. I can modify the S2 mounting bracket to make them clear the snorkel but will see how I like the Rigids. They sit a bit taller so will likely be more functional anyway.
