    Setup

With this setup on my particular vehicle, would I be able to fit 33" tires with no rubbing without performing a CMC? If it still rubbed with the wheel offset, would 1" spacers fix it or would I need to perhaps think about getting SPC UCA's and getting a shop to push my tire as far forward as possible?

    Thanks!

    Hey Ricky,

Welcome to the forum. You'll need a 16" wheel size or larger to clear your 2011 Tacoma PreRunner brake calipers.

In most cases, a CMC is highly recommend with a 33" tall tire size to avoid rubbing at full flex.

Oh wow this didn't even cross my mind. I'm now looking at 285/75-R16 tires paired with a 16x8 wheel with a -12mm offset. I've also decided I'm probably just going to go ahead and do the CMC. It'll give me some peace of mind knowing that I won't rub at all even if I stuff my wheel. Thanks so much!
