I have a buddy selling his Baja TX suspension for around 1k. I was wondering if anyone has done this swap before over to a 2nd gen. Im currently on 285/70/17s and wasn't 100% sure if my wheels would clear with the Baja TX suspension. Any help would be appreciated.

What kind of lift do you have on now?

I installed the TRD Pro (rather than Baja) on my truck and it's a great setup. I may swap to Baja front springs for a little extra weight capacity.

What are the details on your friend's suspension? $1000 seems awfully expensive unless they're near new. I paid $500 for mine with 25k miles and wouldn't have been willing to pay much more than that. If he's asking $1000 I'd seriously consider Bilstein 6112/5160 setup instead. It'd be a little more money but it'd be brand new and you'd have height adjustability.

$1k is too high for a used set. Remember that the Baja was only offered 2012-2014.
