I typically use baseball glove oil or conditioner on leather sheaths, belts, even my work boots.

    Just the basics
I use coconut oil every day but not sure I'd put it on the sheath leather. Do bears like it?
I watched a video from Wranglerstar and he suggested Obenhaufs beeswax. I bet bears like that too.

Gotcha. If you're trying to avoid any scent there's a method using boiling water, but you'd have to look that one up since I'm not familiar with the technique.

Below are knives from what I’ve collected that I tend to carry on a regular basis:
    upload_2021-11-23_16-6-37.jpg
    upload_2021-11-23_15-49-40.jpg
Left to right: Benchmade Mini Griptilian, Spyderco Chaparral, Ramon Chaves Ultramar Redencion, and Great Eastern Cutlary Viper #47. I must admit that I’ve carried a Benchmade as my daily for well over a decade before losing it, thus the mini grip gets preferred duty roughly 90% of the time. The Spyderco when I want some that is light and compact that still slices impeccably, the Chaves for when I’m in the mood for something robust, and the GEC for a more formal occasion.

While on duty I rotate between these two:
    upload_2021-11-23_16-5-45.jpg
    upload_2021-11-23_16-1-21.jpg
ESEE Izula, and Kershaw/Emerson CQB collaboration. Main point being: cheap, sturdy, and easy single handed retrieval.

Went and bought some of the exclusives.

Bought three of the bugout OD desert warrior exclusives (one for me and two coworkers)
Some small victorinox Bigfoot for stocking stuffers
    MKM Isonzo artic fat carbon
    MKM Burnley Arvenis exclusive
Olamic Rainmaker - this was my big purchase. Been saving up since I knew we were going. I have a whipper snapper from Olamic and it’s so smooth of action.

I drool over the Olamic knives every time I open one of their emails. I would get either the kinetic earth or entropic handle Rainmakers if I had the funds. Which one did you pick up?

I went by their office one day after work. Not really an office but anyway, they do a lot of their marketing and product shoots from there. Blades come from a couple of other locations. If it was on the table, I could touch it. All of them were fantastic.

Made some Mules scales out of some Westinghouse micarta. They turned out really nice!

Also made a practice set of some thick Tengu scales for a custom order. Still need to make matching backspacer and finish sanding.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Love the micarta. Got a similar one on my CPK!

Man, the Knife/EDC community is amazing. I am so humbled by all the orders I took in after the Spyderco Magnacut Mule release last week. I’m going to busy for the next 4 weeks. Lol.
