2020 SR5, V6 4x4. Last weekend I installed the RC 3.5” lift. 2” blocks in the rear plus the included shocks. With that I installed 1.5” spacers and 285/75R16 on stock wheels. Vehicle was aligned 2 days later (yesterday). On my way home from work I notice a distinct rattle coming from passenger side rear end when going over small bumps. After getting home I had my wife jump up and down in the bed and reproduce the sound but I could not locate it. All hardware that I handled installing the lift was still tight (shackle bolts and shock bolts). and the noise seemed to be coming from just behind the passenger rear wheel. Anybody have any insight? First taco so go easy on my ignorance please.

Welcome to the forum. Couple of things to check, crawl under and shake the exhaust pipe and the spare tire.

I checked the exhaust and everything I could get my hands on was tight. I didn’t check the spare because the sound seems to be coming from somewhere between the leaf springs and the mounting surface of the rear wheel.

Maybe check the chain on the spare tire, and that the tire is tight to the bottom of the bed. Also check the tailgate. It may be the latches making noise on the tailgate. My 2016 did this. Never bothered me.

Strap your wife to the back bed and go for a drive? If the wife is not feasible, attach your phone underneath very well and drive while it records a video with a view from underneath
