Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

After redoing the top plate on this so it would fit in the rotator piece it bothered me it was so tall. I cut it off and redid it, looks a lot better now.

So here's the test run now that I finally got it all back together. Immediately after this log I shut the machine back down and checked the tips for any signs of looseness. Sure enough, I found five. Re-torqued to 185 ft lbs, then ran a second test log. Checked the tips again, and one went from a righty tighty, to a righty loosey. So now it's a through bolt and we'll see how that holds up...

I know all branches are different but when I am told we don`t want to bother with your meager $1000.00 a month business I went with McMaster-Carr things got busy after that I was doing about $50,000.00 a year.

When the salesman from the blue store would stop I would say you told me once you did not want my business .

 

I have many parts on our shelves with that yellow tag...
