Affordable retractable hard cover with crossbars

I'd like to purchase a setup like the one shown below. I need the ability to mount crossbars on top of the retractable hard top. Does anyone know of an affordable retractable hard top for a 3rd gen that could also support racks? The system below is the RETRAXPRO XR TONNEAU COVER and goes for almost $2,000. I'm hoping to be around $1000 cover + rack.

 

I have a Max Modular Rack (cab height) with special bracket that allow for a tonneau cover. The retractable are nice, but SO expensive. I use a truxedo soft tonneau and it works great with the rack. Its for sale in the NE for sale page, I'm looking to get a cap.

 

The plastic version of the Retrax XR is around $1300. T-Slot support and bars are going to run you at least $400-500 from a well-known manufacturer
