So after my truck sits overnight, or several hours, there’s this rumble sound when I start it. Then when I back up and turn out of my driveway it kind of rumbles when I’m turning the wheel. After driving like 3-4 miles the noise goes away. If this is any help, it sounds like “torque”… like a low growl or rumble. Seems like it’s coming from the middle of the truck. Anybody got any ideas?

Could you please elaborate a bit on this - like what it sounds like when your carrier bearing is staring to go - eg/ how you would describe it vs OP

I have a similar odd noise that occurs when it is cool out and has sat overnight, only for the first mile or two, comes from the middle of the vehicle -
It seems rotational in nature - the frequency coincides with my speed but over 50mph = I can't hear it at all

It does not occur when it is hot outside - - but this winter it seems louder than what I recall from last year..

    THX
