How are your beds holding up w a topper or shell? I have a topper, Decked, and Caliraised bed supports but seem to be getting some bed splay. Wondering if it's more of a random thing w off-roading or more specific to those w toppers or weight on the bed rails.

This has come up several times and I think the general consensus was that if you have a heavy shell or you carry stuff on top some bed brackets would be a good idea. I carry a bike and sometimes one or more kayaks, I've also been known to put other junk up top, and I could look at the gap on my tailgate and tell a very slight difference from bottom to top. When I bought my brackets I checked them with a square and when I installed them I used a ratchet strap as suggested by someone else here to gently pull the bedsides in. I can't remember which brand I used but they're made buy one of the members here.
