We have a 2017 Tacoma that we have been upgrading. Today the Question is, should we buy Rigid Industries fog light or order them from IJDMtoy.com?
To us the quality looks better from rigid and more OME at best $485 plus. From IJDM we are not sure about priced at $190. also open to other places but this is the style that we like.

And you can also modify the Rigid covers to fit over the Diode Dynamics SS3’s, if that is the look you want.

I had the Rigid fogs and they're better than nothing but not by much. I made the switch to the SS3 Pros and wow!!!!

Get Diode Dynamics SS3’s, they are legit. The sport SAE’s are perfect if you want to use them on and off road, the cutoff was perfect right out of the box for me

I like to go OEM whenever possible, and I like the look of the Rigid Industries OEM lights, but $485 is a bit hard to swallow.

The the OP. I went with a pair of rigid sr-m with rigid fog lamp Mount kit. The rigid lights were 58 a piece and Mount was around 118.

The lamps are upside down due to mounting bracket and angle of the fog. But they are brighter than stock and I did not have to modify the covers.

yes they are considerably. The oem rigid ones aren’t as bright as they have to be DOT compliant. I couldn’t even see my oem pro fog lights before after putting on the yellow diffusers. It really cut the light output down.

You also have a choice to get a fog, driving beam and flood pattern light. Depending on what you want and driving conditions?

They will never be as bright as the ss3 pro/max but you won’t have an issue with light output.
I run the brightest flood light in the rigid srm line.

I have been using these for 3 years I think and not a single issue. I swear they are identical to my friend's Pro and just as bright. I did buy a new set of bezels from the dealership because I had a parts gift card and got e,ployee pricing, I think I paid $60 plus the lights from Alibaba. I actually bought a second set as a spare. I had one light where I needed to reverse a wire which solved the issue, but the seller on Alibaba sent me a new set and got it within a week. Hope this helps, I too didn't want to spend $500 and love the looks of the light.
