My 04 Tacoma DCSB TRD came stock with 265 70 16 my SR's and SR5 3rd gens came with 245 75 16. The question I have The O4 Seemed more stable on the road than my 3rd gen's except when I put on my winter 265 70's than I get the same experience is this due to the tires or the difference in suspensions.

245 is a skinnier tire so you'd have less of a contact patch with the road on the larger truck.

Tire pressure, weight in the bed, are all things equal?

Yes except the 3rd gen is bigger overall. I just figured that people who do builds and mods might have a better insight on this.

Yeah but you're putting a larger truck on a skinnier tire with a little bit larger sidewall so it's going to feel a little more skittish than a wider tire with less sidewall.

Alignment is also key. Have you had the 3rd gen aligned recently?

What exactly feels unstable with the 3rd gen?

FYI I've also had an 04 DCSB and now a 2016 3rd gen.

I'm not sure about that unless the tire pressure is higher. The contact patch with a skinnier tire will be shaped differently from with a wide tire.

It just feels better cornering and better in the wind less then 10000 miles and no odd wear on any tires ran 32psi on both trucks

Assuming wheel width's, inflation pressures and the tire models are the same the skinnier tire will have a narrower contact patch. The higher sidewall may make the truck feel less responsive in cornering.

Right narrower on the longitudinal but not smaller.
