You really do not need to re-install that bottom bolt...

 

My last set, one of them was completely fuckered, didn't matter one bit

Ahhh, I didn't realize you were ordering 2013 parts. Sorry for the alarm.

I've been trying to get them for a 2005 - 2011 (8111004210 / 8115004210). Placed several orders and had them cancelled and called 6-7 dealerships across the country. I finally had a conversation with a local dealer who said that the left assembly is backordered indefinitely. I had a retro-fit that fell apart and the guy that build them isn't standing behind his work and has gone quiet. haven't driven the truck for two weeks.

Towards the end of that video, is that how you align the headlights?? Seems... more involved than I thought (eyeballing it lol)

Also, is it worth upgrading bulbs now since everything is out and if so, with what?

My headlights arrived wildly misaligned

Bulb replacement is way less difficult with new in box housings!

 

Now knowing the rarity of our headlights (currently at least) i'd say that the bottom bolt is a good theft deterrent and wish our tailgates had the same.

I checked the new housings level this evening and they’re pretty good. Ended up bringing both sides down about 2” to compensate for the lift. Are any of you having to adjust?
