Wow... an EV tacoma. Looks sick. Now the big question: Would you trade for one if it was available?

depends on the range and cost? EV's are not cheap and the ranges are not adequate right now.

I will be. Maybe not the first year of the 4th gen, but definitely the second.

I will add a few more guesses as to what will change, other than EV:
    1. Fully independent rear suspension; gone will be the solid axle. They are doing this in full sizes now, so no need to keep that around.
    2. Very long front suspension travel due to no space being taken in the front.
    3. Composite body parts for more weight reduction.
    4. Rear disc brakes? :)

I am curious as to where the batteries will be located. Hopefully there will be no loss of usable interior space, like how they are going to do with the Tundra hybrid.

    The FJ EV.....tempting, tempting.
Also I wonder if they'll offer an EV conversion for standard tacomas? With all the mods I've done I'd rather not start from scratch if I ever go the EV route.

I would give it a look, but for the distance I travel to see relatives I would need 400 mile range to make it the distance in the winter with the cold weather power reduction. We will see technology is changing.

I believe it's that new supra , they have a gas model out now. I like it but usually it's got a sold sticker when I see it in the showroom.

Definitely resembles a Tacoma. Given how conservative Toyota is with change, it seems to track with what the next gen Tacoma would look like.

    Nothing major yet.
I doubt they will go with composite body parts unless this is going to be a $100,000+ truck. Composite is very expensive and would be hard to mass produce.
