Will be paying attention for sure. I like that they kept the same general styling, I think it looks sharp. Looking forward to seeing some specs as we get closer.

Looks close to that concept for sure. But the interpretations i saw about release is 2025/2026. I'm sure it will be sold in the US with hybrid models. Just my speculation.

Wonder if we will see the petrol version of the 4Th Gen Tacoma for ‘24 MY, then the hybrid/ev for ‘25/26?

I like the specs for the FT-FX, believe it had a true 4WD system with a transfer case, though if it is going full EV it won’t matter.

They could still do a 4th Gen Tacoma then but release the BEV Tacoma as an option in the following years as an additional option. But no matter what the design is probably what the 4th gen will look like. maybe an unintended 4th gen design reveal?

That is what I am thinking. Looks more like the current Tacoma than the HiLux. See a lot of design influence from the new Tundra.

I went to the Detroit and Chicago auto shows for 20 good years. Typically a flagship concept car would be shown and the watered down model would hit the streets 3-5 years later. However you would see concepts that were 20+ years out and would see vehicle that were obviously not the finished product 1-2 years later.
I predicted watered down versions of the styling but id drive that white tacoma now!
Edit - in a long bed version
