I'm restoring my 2001 Tacoma prerunner I wanna keep everything original the only thing I modified is the hood. I guess we can say I merged a 2002 hood with a 2019 TRD sport hood. I'm down to the paint job any suggestions on how I should paint the hood?

Could vinyl wrap it. Otherwise if looking for quality paint then remove it from the truck and have a body shop paint it.

I'm doing all the work myself. I decided to paint the truck orange, wanted something different. Just not sure on how to paint the hood, all orange or do something else with it

Paint it all one color then but matte black vinyl on the raised section for glare reduction especially if you're adding a light bar down the road.

Im already painting the truck matte, and yes I've seen some decals they sell that go over the raised part of the hood. Thanks for the input! it seems like that is the most common thing to do. Might have to go with something like that
