The current mega storm did this at our place this morning. We are at just around 1800' elevation, the snow line is usually around 2200', going up the Highway 50 corridor towards Lake Tahoe. Friend of mine who lives further up the hill (3000' - 3500') called me a few minutes ago, he has 1 1/2 FEET at his place this morning.

Fookin' wind on Sunday/Monday blew tarp off our wood pile.

Notice the 5 gallon bucket underneath the table. That's filled to the TOP with solid concrete..... I made that to hold the umbrella. And the umbrella was closed when the storm hit. That's how windy it was, that it tipped over a 60#+ bucket of solid concrete. Ands just on the left hand side of the frame, you can see a mid sized tree branch that also blew down, is laying on the ground.

Better view of the tree branch that broke/blew down (center of frame).

ive never been to New Mexico. I dont know what birds could fly around down there haha

Edit: checked the always definitive source of wikipedia and because my US geography sucks, New Mexico looks to land in brewer's blackbirds year round range. maybe winter range.

You don’t know that. It just may not be evident to the casual observer but a daily struggle is worse than a quick reckoning.

Come to think of it, that is pretty silly, a ghost parrot driving a truck. He was probably just sitting on that truck drivers shoulder and whispered in his ear. o_O
