    Yeah...

Wheels and tires really do make all the difference. The other upgrades are nice from a functional perspective (which is more important to me). But dropping $1400 for the aesthetics seemed like a no brainer --- especially since I dumped my rarely driven impractical sports car to get this truck. I just couldn't drive it long without doing the thing some justice.....

Agreed.. just added the Toyota grill, even though it’s played, but it’s a tip of the cap to my dad’s old 89. I prefer the old school look

Love them wheels... and I definitely like the all silver look. I'm old school too

I actually wanted silver f5s when I ordered. But being as SCS wheels are like finding unicorns in a full set of 4, when I ordered the only color available was bronze with the size/offset I wanted.. . So I kinda got stuck with bronze instead of silver.

I wasn't aware you could get an SRDCLB. Is this a Canada thing? Or did I somehow miss this back in 2020?

Bronze with the black is a good look, they would be good with a green truck too. I would get a black truck but it seems very hard to maintain. I thought silver would show less damage over time and hide small scratches. I bought the last physical set of rims available in the United States, plus a spare just in case.. heard the factory that makes them shut down. It doesn’t take much to make these trucks look good. The design itself seems timeless.

My question is: on the SR do you really miss the fender flares? Also, how long have the SR's been coming with heated seats standard?

Exactly my plan. if the green didnt mean I had to spend 8k more, I would look for a green SR. But since I want the bronze wheels, I think black is the only way to go.

Just crazy how much of a difference wheels and tires can make

I mentioned this before in a Michigan thread, I didn’t want the fender flares because I felt like it was just another place to trap salt. They salt like crazy up here and it acts like sandpaper if it gets trapped. I put a lot of wax in that area though, hopefully it holds up. Mudflaps help as well.

Fog lights, Vision Turbine 16x8 wheels, Goodyear Wrangler Ultraterrain 265/75/r16 AT's, janky LEDs that probably won't catch on fire

My 2021 SR doesn't have heated seats, and when I input my southeast US location on the Toyota Tacoma website there's no indication the SR has included (or optional) heated seats, so I'm thinking that may only be in Canada and select markets. And I was bummed about lacking the fender flares at first, but the no-flare look has really grown on me.

No heated seats on mine either. I think just the sr5’s are on the lowest end of the spectrum for receiving warm butts in the US. Maybe the SX?

I think flareless tacos are better looking. I dont do any major offroading, its really a Matter of personal preference. It reminds me of the late 80s early 90s pickups.

Black paint is a pain. I wanted silver, but black is what they had at the price I wanted to be. So I compromised on the color. Same with the wheels. I'm not too picky tho

Edit...black looks awesome when clean. You have about 8 minutes after a wash then that's it.

My son has a silver SR SX. It always looks clean and is never maintained. I HAVE to dry my truck with a leaf blower and then hit it with a colinite 845 spray wax concoction I make after washing. If not, washing alone is pointless. It literally can look worse after washing if I dont get all the water spots

And I'm not big on paint maintenance. I dont want to spend every waking hour of free time rubbing paint with a diaper

The write up makes this stuff sound like magic. Seems expensive. $30 for 8oz....

Based on your experience does it work as claimed ..

One ounce completely seals and protects 4-5 cars!
    Really?

I'd consider using this but does it work magic like it sounds like in the description?

The real question is where did you get that emblem cover?
