Strange knock

    sounds like a knock. only hear it during idle mostly coming from underneath. Some say these trucks are just noisy in general but this don’t sound right. https://youtu.be/2oq-0Yl42Xs

    It sounds fairly normal to me, it seems like all the 4.0l engines in the Tacoma's have a slight tapping noise at idle.
    Mine has since it was pretty much new, usually louder when it's cold.
