Do you know if there's any difference in the specs of the OR wheels and the SR5 wheels?

Lol, I got it off eBay. Just search “toyota steering wheel emblem” and you have a ton of choices. I just ordered 2 of the same and they fit on both my 21 Taco and my wife’s 20 Camry. The seller I bought from doesn’t have the listing active anymore but I just went with the cheapest. Paid $28 for the pair. I can’t stand fake chrome so it was necessary along with the 4x4 and V6 badge. Only thing left is the damn 4x4 knob in the cab and I can’t find anything I like to cover it.

I can look tomorrow but guessing I have about 12 washes on my bottle and have used about 1/4 of it (2 ounces). It's just one spray per door, more for the bigger body panels. It has good hydrophobic properties as well but I bought it as a general drying aid and sealant. It is light enough weight that you can add your preferred wax on top of it for shine and additional protection.

Also, it's cheaper through autogeek. I always try to order everything through them but run into shipping issues being in Alaska.

Claybar then Rejex.. then repeat Rejex 24 hours later and follow up with wax.. Rejex works on the fender well plastic too.. it’s boat sealant.

Thanks! Do they come with adhesive backing or did you have to superglue it on?

It has pre installed 3M tape the exact shape of the emblem. I recommend disconnecting the battery, or you’ll be blowing your horn like crazy pushing it on.

Well I definitely wont be doing this... I'm used to white paint. Wash 2x per year never dry, spray wax once or twice a year. White always looks clean. Thanks for sharing, but I wont be putting this kind of work in....

lol.. my old truck was white and hid everything. They do make black wax, (wax that isn’t white when it dries). It makes black paint look amazing imo, fills fine scratches, but I would use a durable sealant first.

I added the exact same fog light kit to my SR. I drilled a hole in the firewall, sealed it with rush proof paint and put in a gromet to protect the wire. Changed the switch to a $15 dollar one that is blue and better quality. Fog lights work great! I also did add a fuse, so the lights go off when I turn the ignition off, just in case I forget to turn off the fog lights.

    Wow! 39lb...
    Do they make a 265/75/16?.

My wheels and tires were solely purchased for weight. I wasn't necessarily concerned with looks. My wildpeak SL are 43 lbs which is light. 4lbs of rotating weight could save some mpg (not much -but every lb helps ). I'm running about 22-23mpg in the summer and 19-21 in the cold.

I been using colinite 845 mixed with distilled water in a spray bottle. Works good use it everywhere.. no white residue. Looks awesome and beads for 6 to 8 months. I guess my problem isnt how to protect black paint... I just want it to look nice without the work

Hmmm, I have used Colinite but not with distilled water. Curious to know more about that.

I basically shake up the colinite to get it to its thick oily gel-like consistency. Pour some distilled water into an old spray wax container, add some colinite to the same container then shake it up. I add more water/wax until I get the consistency of the spray to come out like thin wax as opposed to water. You'll have to experiment to see what you like. I go through a bottle of colinite per year (which is a lot for this type of wax). I really dont wash my truck very often but since my truck is black I always use this afterward. Its basically almost like waxing it, but it only takes half the time. Spray one panel at a time, wipe clean with a microfiber towel -- done.

Poor mans spray wax. $20 a year as opposed to $6 to $12 per bottle of spray wax. My son uses it on his taco as well, so it does 2 trucks. Works just as good as the stuff you'd buy in a store and costs way less.

Colinite is good for this because the overspray doesnt dry to a white chalky residue. You can use it on everything with no worries

Only canadian models come qith the heated seats and the color matched fender flares, i got mine ita a doublecab with the 6ft bed it has heated seats and 4wd v6 for 31500usd still waiting to receive it ordered in late november 2021, i think they put this model here as fender flares really help to protect in the wintertime with the sand they put on the roads the gravel really blasts away at the sides without fender flarws and mudguard and i think at that price you just cant get a better package anywhere cant wait to get it my access cab is really too small for a family of 4
