KDMax Pro Tune Event in June HOUSTON

Hey Houston, out of the blue I had five guys from the Houston area contact me for a tune and my rule is, "five to make the drive," so I'm gonna be at the Buc-ee's in Katy from 11 am to 1pm on Saturday September 11th installing the KDMax. No need to sign up, just show up and get your truck tuned! Let me know if you have any questions. Please look at the KDMax thread by @PapaRee - there you will find the answers to most of the common questions. (V6 2016-2021 only)

If you have been previously tuned by me another Texas KD Group tuner (Alex or Kaleb) and you want to change your tune settings as in throttle response or fuel choice, just show up and I'll accommodate you for no cost.

If I have tuned you to the KD6 or KD7 tunes in the past, you can upgrade to the Pro for $75.

 

Houston area! On Saturday the 18th I will be in Schulenberg on unrelated business but can make time to tune a few trucks to the KDMax Pro if anyone is interested.
I can also upgrade you to the Pro if I have previously tuned you to an earlier version of the KDMax.

Location will be at the Pilot station at the corner of I10 and Kessler. 10am-11am-ish

If no one responds I will not stop at that location, so please don't just show up without letting me know!

just got the lunar rock trd sport, are you able to tune those yet?

how well do the tune respond to mods? been trying to learn more about the taco, this is my first truck ever, so trying to be a sponge and learn as much as possible. came from being a honda tuner back in the days, and now this taco.

 

We can definitely tune your Tacoma.
The pro tune has thus far worked with all intake/exhaust and other performance mods.
Unlike most sportswear tuning, the KDMax tunes are not specifically "performance." They are much more a fix/vast improvement for and over the many shortcomings of the 3rd gen Tacoma.

Does adding this tune avoid any warranty? If so would I be able to have tune taken off and put back on for any serious warranty service that I may need in future? Also next event in the Houston area (whenever that may be) I would defiantly be interesting in coming out to get this tune done.

 

I just finished doing some research on the tune, and it looks like it's undetectable by the dealer. I'm going to get mine done at the Katy event on 4/23. Looking forward to it.
