Order of bolt installation on timing chain cover

    The timing chain cover for 1GR-FE has a total of 21 fasteners (25mm x 11, 40mm x 2, 60mm x 6, nut x 2).

    Does the order in which they are fastened matter, like it does for head gaskets and camshaft bearing bolts?

    So basically, the order does not matter because it would be specified it it did

    Correct. If it were very important the service manual would specifically say it.

    I personally like to start in the center/middle and work my way out.
