    Does anyone know of a good supercharger or something to give a 2.7 on 35s little more power? It’s a1996 single cab 2.7 5 speed 4x4 on 35s

    LCE sells the kit, but it’s a lot of effort and money for 195hp total. Gear it properly and live with the fact that it’s a 150hp truck

    A rtt i never use and 30 light bars
    lcengeneering sells the sc for 3k. Add the gauges and some other parts like fuel injectors, fuel filter. I live in California so I would have to get the smog legal 4psi pulley. I was gonna do it but ima hold off on it. I’m not willing to deal with pinging and other issues that then ill need a piggyback and a tune then a bigger fuel pump and injectors, so I said nvm. The install is easy diy. Also needs 91 and gas prices really are up ther…..just wasnt worth it for me.

    Could probably do both axles set up woth 5.14s for under 2k. Less if DIY

    2000 Tacoma 4WD Base - no low gas warning light but it has AC!
    I would go with a turbo if I wanted more grunt from the 2.7. They respond well to it and with a turbo your tuning options are greater. But with any type of forced induction it is a slippery slope. Gotta deal with the heat and any weak spot will be a new issue....fun though!
