@tonered been meaning to ask. I installed the original last upgraded MT tune 1-2(?) years ago. That old laptop is scrapped and DED dead. SO I have zero vestiges of that software stuff. I still have the plug in.

    1) I am still happy. Every time I need the juice pedal, glad for the tune.
    2) Has there been any negatives brought out over this time period?
    3) WTH would I do if somehow I need to go back to stock? Or wanted to change? (no need now, at all)

Yeah, 56 pages, Maybe it's covered. Sorry.

The vF software can be freely downloaded from the homepage. You should have the license info in an email. Hopefully not on that computer. If so, just send a support ticket in and vF Tuner will help you out.

It depends when you flashed, but there have been no updates to the 2.0 Final MT Tunes yet.

To go back to Stock, you need to get vF working again. There's no way to do it with TS unless there is a newer TSB.

    OH Yeah. Email!
    yes 2.0
No need to change a thing. Just needed peace of mind. JIC.

Thanks! This is like the 19th time you have helped me. Too bad we moved further away. Next time/if ever on Mt Baker Hwy, you are welcome. (we are just a short jog up the 9 base of Sumas Mt)

    Hey, Mike.

The 04B82 TP has been released. I have been trying to get it from vF Tuner, although it is only the 2.0 Tune, not the follow on Ultimate stuff yet. There is a low rumble about something coming, but nothing defined quite yet.

A while back, all that we were told was that if he decides on the latest ECU IDs only, the Ultimate tunes might get released early this year. I gave my input that the latest only makes the most sense. Since, he has mentioned a possible update using the vF software itself instead of sending out new tunes (EROM 1.2), but no specifics were discussed, esp the Final Options like MapSwitching and GearLock.

I checked the list, but didn't see any. So, of course, like any good newbie, I am going to ask.

Are there any folks in Northern Nevada (along the I-80 corridor)? I live in Battle Mountain, but am willing to drive.

@AFGizmo happy to help any way I can. We’re based out of Reno, but regularly host tuning events in other areas near by.

@vorkuta775 thanks for the shout out. You guys sponsoring the TacomaPowered event in Roseville? I’ll be there man. Excited to be sponsoring the event. Looks like it’s going to a lot of fun!

    Thanks @vorkuta775

@InternationalHarvester Id like to get a tune when you’re available. I actually live in Battle Mountain, which is about 3.5 hrs east on I-80. Just got my Tacoma a few weeks ago and am loving it. I just wanna love it a bit more.

I’m in Reno every other week or so.

Just wanna say, I got a tune by @tonered some months ago on my stock AT SR5. I was happy with the first impressions but a little worried about what it would feel like after moving to 265/75/r16s and changing the diff ratios to 4.88...

Well after doing all that and driving around for a while (including a trip from to OR from Seattle), I can say the tune is EVEN better now.

Thanks for making my truck not only bearable to drive, but actually enjoyable.

You're welcome, Levi. Thanks for the compliments.

I'm glad to hear that your mods went well. If anything does pop up, lemme know. We can meet up and get you reflashed. 4.88s will drop your speed limiter to somewhere in the 90s. :D

Nice! I also ended up getting a SoftTopper after seeing yours - loving it! Will be keen to go for a woods drive or something if you're planning anything some time.
