I just replaced the rear pads and drums today. I had adjusted the pads out until they started scraping slightly. I noticed my brake pedal does not feel as solid as it used to. What is the correct amount to tighten the adjuster for the rear pads?

He means the rear Brake Shoes and Brake Drums. There are no rear pads.

Usually with new shoes/drums they need to be re-adjusted after break in. This is due to the ever-so-slight out of round nature of shoes.

When I install new shoes I set them super aggressive, barely turn by hand.

Just re-adjust to slight drag, it will feel better.
