The clock panel switches look like a tight fit. How well do they function?

Good to hear. Are you using the paranoid fab plate?

Here’s a few pics of my switch set up. Bought the carling style switches, and plastic mounting brackets. I cut the lower trim panel and placed the mounting bracket in place an jb welded it. Then I used body filler to get this result. I like it ok. It took more than one try and was a major pain in the ass, but I don’t regret anything. I had to cover the led’s with some yellow transparent plastic to tone the color and brightness down. The two switches in my bed, I didn’t do this to.8C66CA0D-7396-4413-8BE9-0BC4B0655C93.jpg0E5A8134-F96E-4D27-9CFE-6303C5AB467D.jpg67F6CAEF-E36A-4C48-9BEC-F1C5584F7931.jpg7FB46F6F-3175-4E0F-8A7C-70CAFF3F41E0.jpg6DA77C9F-7E68-4FA9-BA8E-0028754A0877.jpgC74405CB-1269-448B-B3E4-D5F9B7F38A66.jpg

Anyone have a 3-way switch that looks kind of stock-ish? Haven't been able to find anything but round and the old school toggle switches. It would work an LED pod that has a backlight mode.

If you're interested, I could make a custom surround for an off-the-shelf switch that would place it in the little square relief next to the cupholders on the center console. Any switch that can mount in a cutout that is less than 1" x 1.5" would work. Here's a seat heater switch that I mounted in my truck as well as a round switch that I was test fitting:

I have these in my 98 4runner. They fit into the blank spaces perfectly, look stock, and have an led indicator light to show when the circuit is on.

No back light though, if your savvy enough I'm sure you could find a way to have the light be on by default

I did this years ago, I don't know if I ever posted pictures though. Lockers and onboard air compressor buttons.

What kind of blank switches or brackets are you using for these switches? These seem to fit nice and in OEM location. Thanks

71F05F68-3BD9-422A-A680-74668CA87895.jpg I went the S-Pod route and attached the switches to the lower A-pillar mount. I like what others did with their DIN mounts, But my double DIN radio limited me a bit.

Thanks for the offer @reallife--I had considered mounting the switch to the console but that's a clear 2nd choice for me at this point.

I have a Federal Signal SmartSiren SS2000SM. Controls my wrecker amber lightbar on the roof, and my front, alley, and rear work lights. Super programmable too. Has PA functions, controls the traffic advisor lights on the lightbar as well.

That’s a very clean install! I like it! I wondered for a long time why that bubble is formed into the headliner there, and I still don’t know. I found an overhead pocket from a Toyota car in the junk yard that I put in the same place on my truck. It holds my sunglasses and has a garage door opener on it.
Were you as nervous as I was cutting the headliner with a box cutter? Haha
