Hello people I'm in the middle taking off the grill on my 22 Sport. I've taken off the 2 10m bolts and two clips on top by lights and sensor harness. Removed 4 bottom clips. Wouldn't come out, so I removed two clips off the shrouds. And still won't come out.

Update I yanked on it real hard out of frustration and landed o my ass with grill in hand.

Maybe the 22's have extra clips, all I know is the vids on how easy it is are not all true!

I experience this the first time I removed the grill. I also followed YouTube videos that they make it look easy. It is still tough to pull it out especially it's the first time you've done this. GL!

So you can relate. I though it was still somewhat attach to the bumper under the lights. Every video I watch it looked like it fell off after the 4 top clips and bolts.
I just said ef it! And yanked real hard and it finally came out.
I'm trying to put in a set of oem full led headlights. Got all the way to the last clip on the bumper and gave up. It's to cold and snowy here. Everything sounded like it was breaking. Looks like I'll hire it out to a warm shop, to a more educated than I on installing these heads.
    Cheers Al

LOL. I did finally. Only 10 miles on it guess I was to nervous to break a clip

Working on the Taco is pretty easy, I definitely would do the work on your own. I have installed everything on my Taco except for my Bakflip cover. I also have done all the maintenance.

Thank goodness for my buddy having a works shop I could use. - 8c out here. That's it, the next house is going to have a heated shop

A couple of YouTube vids and some TW's cheering me on I had to give it another try... Right?

4 hrs to take the lower valance, bumper, grill and all lights off and out.

Still felt sketchy at the corners, where bumper meets molding and fender.

But it all worked out. OEM LEDs heads with sequencal turns and LED fogs

Looks more modern and a bit more aggressive I think.
