    I saw these on the auction sites when they were mil surp going for $200-250 depending on the condition circa 2009-10 i didnt know it at the time but browning hi power parts were expensive as shit. fast forward 10 years later and i decided it was time to get it out of the safe and make it a fun shooter. This was one of my many covid projects

    Most internals were replaced, new barrel, springs, hammer , sear, extended safety, ejector, filed to fit as needed

    1-NYD purchase at a local gun show, a 1980- made S&W Model 25-5, .45 Colt. 4" barrel nickel plated:

    2- Jan 2nd, went back hopefully to pick up a RIA 1911 in .38 Super I saw the previous day; it was gone, but I found a very nice Browning Hi Power in .40S&W, a gun I'd been looking for a couple of years:
