    2017 Tacoma TRD Off-Road Blazing Blue Pearl
    I totally can't seem to find the thread that says something about full armor on MT should be 5.29s.

    Looking to run 315/75 R16. Already have the front bumper, winch, front skid, sliders and rear dual swing.

    Anyway is 5.29 the right thing to do on a 17, OR, MT?

    Starting to second guess myself.

    If you have a manual you could probably get away with 488 and then you're pinion wouldn't be so small, but with the 3.5 L having very little low end torque and all of its horsepower on the upper end 529 isn't such a bad idea, kind of a toss-up between 488 and 529.

    Just need to ask yourself, do you honestly spend just as much time off-road as you do on road or are you mostly on road?
