I always was impressed with the Girls Father when He asked " Do you prefer 45acp or 9mm as a carry gun"

Times were different in the seventies. It took me a few years to figure why fathers wanted me to meet their daughters after meeting me in The Gun Smiths shop.

I worked with a maniac years ago who was determined to find the ideal time to get the most popcorn possible but not burned.

He kept a log book with times, microwave number (the break room had several) and un-popped count.

I don't know if he ever found the ideal time but he burned a lot of popcorn.

His study should have also noted input voltage just Like 120VAC welders output changes with voltage changes.

Working in factories there are a stunning number of people who can't read a tape measure.

Worse is when it is a long term employee and their daily job requires it.

I have taught dozens of people over the years the obscure language of fractions.

    Fractions are hard!

I have some trades guys that come in to look at floor plans and it dumbfounds me that some can't read them. Someone from chemistry or music I'd understand but not a plumber.

Fractions are easy it is only when you get the odd ball ones never used in the real world.

Then multiplying and dividing the Compound ones drove me nuts .
