The OEM leaf springs on my 2018 DCSB TRDOR have started to sag. The long term solution is definitely a full aftermarket suspension, probably OME. In the meantime, though, my friend had some upgrades done to his new ('21 or '22, not sure which it ended up being) access cab TRDOR and I was going to install the OEM springs that come off his truck on mine. According to the little bit of information that I can find on the part numbers it seems like toyota spec'd different springs for the double cab manual vs. the access cab automatic. The springs on my truck now are 48220-043200 and 48210-04710. The new springs would be 48220-04471 and 48210-04831. Is there any reason these wouldn't work on my truck? Any chance they are firmer? There has been more discussion in the 2nd Gen threads about putting 3rd gen suspension on them an no one seems to get hung up on the details of the trucks the suspension were being swapped from or to. If there's no practical difference, why the different part numbers? Thanks!

I would start by counting the number of leafs in the spring pak, also compare with and length of the springs, if all seems the same then i guess go for it.
maybe goggle each one and hope for pic,s and or spec's.

I have the same truck as you but 2021 MY. Ripped my OEM suspension off w/ 800 miles. If you were in AZ I'd say we could work something out to get you them on the cheap, but they'd be a bear to ship to AL.

This is the first time I’ve heard anything about the leaf springs being different on any 3rd gen trim. AFAIK, they are all identical, but I have never looked up part numbers, compared them, or asked the dealership.

Why do you think your current springs are busted? I’m skeptical they have suffered significant fatigue damage or oxidation damage in such a short time. Swapping used oem springs for used oem springs could be a waste of time.
