    Had a close encounter with a 4 pt that wouldn't turn and head towards my daughter... Sorry sack o crap... Popped out about 40 yards from me about 20 mins before dark I see now why bigfoot pics look terrible

    I put one in his neck before he could get off the field. I can't believe that bullet didn't go all the way through, but there was jacket and lead all around this hole. It hit dead on a rib and just exploded. The hole looks way bigger now because we cut it open to dig the lead out... I mean federal owns Remington now, but them nontypical don't act like the corelokts I used to shoot, but at times such as these, I'll take whatever I can find. A little far back but not a terrible spot to hit one, would be a great blood trail if it exited.

    The Mrs popped one on this cold Alabama morning (26°) had +1/2 of fat all over the whole deer. There was a corn field that just got picked near us they just picked, been too wet to get in the field.
