    Hey TW,

Now that I've spent about 30 nights in my new OVRLND camper I wanted to post up a review. I am not affiliated with the company and am not endorsing, just wanted to give some feedback.

I put down my deposit for my camper in October and picked it up at the end of May. Even with COVID these guys did an awesome job delivering my camper close to on time. They met me at Phil's World and put it on in the parking lot. First thing I did was drink a beer on the roof. In this pic the truck is sagging because I hadn't added a leaf to my Icon RXT leaf pack.

First place we camped was on Soldier Summit in Utah, and it rained cats and dogs for about 8 hours. Luckily, the rain stopped for long enough to dry out the roads and we were able to drive out. We stayed dry and toasty the whole time!

Here's a pic from near Crested Butte, Colorado. A side shot of the motel on wheels.

As far as weight goes, this camper weighs in at about 270 lbs or so. My truck still drives great, has power to go 80, and lost about 1 MPG. As far as offroading goes, I prefer to go fast on 2 wheels. But, if pickle juice and whiskey are involved I'll go "Jeepin." Just make sure to strap everything down. My truck actually handles everything BETTER with the camper on, it seems to have balanced it out.

All in all, I couldn't be happier with my camper. I love that I still have room when the bed is folded out to get up and out, and I highly recommend the fan option if you ever camp in the heat. I would like to add lift struts in the future once I put more stuff on the roof, but that's it.

OVRLND campers are built in Flagstaff, Arizona by a group of fellow mountain bikers and should definitely be on your list if you're in the market for a pop up camper.

    P.S.

    My truck is a 2007, 4.0 6 speed manual.

I have the icon RXT leaf pack in the back with the added leaf, and truck does great even when I have a dirtbike on the hitch rack.

    Great review!

I’m probably about a year out from pulling the trigger on a camper.

This has made the list for sure.

The barn doors looked interesting but I always end up cooking on my tailgate or using it for something.

6 outside latches to secure it?

Yeah the half barn doors seem like a sweet option too, I might do that so I can stand straight up on my tail gate in the mornings.

    Yup, 6 latches.

Super interested in these campers. I am actually thinking about building one if the lead time is long. The material cost might be less if I build one, however much less hassel to just buy it. What was the lead time? Would you be able to DM or post some picture of the inside?

@Findus11 I just came across this company and the pop-up looks super cool. Not sure if you plan on taking it on and off, but one of the main reasons I haven't pulled the trigger on something like this is because I still like to keep the versatility of my truck for hauling things like 2 dirt bikes in the bed. Do you know, based on how they installed, if it is something you could rig a lift/jack system to take on and off the truck?

    Lift, springs, topper
@Findus11 - Just put my deposit down on mine! I just have a standard topper now with a drawer setup so pretty excited for the upgrade. Anything you wished you were have done additionally? I think I am doing the 1/2 barn doors, struts, and clear windows.

@kevinob123 - I asked them to put brackets on mine so that I could hook up camper jacks to them, did not get a response yet, but I don't see why they couldn't.

    Just a couple
You can simply lift it off the truck with straps. One underneath the cab and another two on each of the barn door straps. Pull it off in your garage. My garage has a 67 mustang in it, but someday I hope to get it set up for easy take off.
