Currently have a simple 2 prong momentary switch wired to a garage door remote, 2 wires, 2 prongs, no problem.
Thought it would be cool to use a CH4X4 momentary style switch but I'm totally stuck, can't get it to power on.
Can anyone help me understand how to wire 2 wires from the remote to the 4 wires on the new CH4x4 switch.
    Blue- power in 12vt
    Green- device
    Yellow- accessory for illumination
    Black - ground
I've also tried a relay but no bueno, redid the 2 prong switch and it works fine.
Can anyone that has done this mod assist? Its killing me at this point. I don't care if it illuminates, just need it to trip the remote.
If not I will have an upper console 2 switch faceplate and garage door switch for sale!

throw an ohm meter across the wires and see which 2 have continuity (should be green and blue) when the button is pressed. The other 2 are the +/- for the dash lights just tap into the dash lights for another switch.

I would recommend using a relay and the ignition circuit for the +12v source of the relay. When the ignition is on, the NO contacts of the relay close, and with the momentary switch in series with the relay, means the switch won’t open your garage when the truck is off. Much more secure this way.

Course one could always dig around the dash for the buried remote… but why make it easy for them.

Thankyou both for the input, SSPNUT got me back on track, thought I tried every combo and failed but obviously missed the green and blue. I was fixated on the black for some stupid reason.
Works as it should, 1 day I will make it illuminate but I'm super happy it works.
TW for the win again! :amen:
