    Low brake fluid likely.

Could be an ABS error as well.

It's the "Hand brake?" so I don't think it has anything to do with blinker fluid or abs . Thanks.

The red "brake " idiot light on the dash will illuminate for several reasons. The manual will explain them all but I know 3 reasons off the top of my head, parking brake engagement, low brake fluid in the MC, other brakinging issues like abs issues. Good luck keep us posted about this riddle.

When I had this issue come up, it was my wheel speed sensor, the seal had broken in the rear axle and the sensor was covered in diff fluid. It's an easy check to see if one of them is coated just one bolt and a connector to pull.

The 2nd gens have the same parking/emergency/hand brake they've had for generations up in the middle between the steering column and the shifter, unless you buy the slushbox. The 3rd gens finally did with the hand brake there and I think it's a pedal now down on the left side.
