Hey, recently acquired a 13500 LB winch and was just looking for some advice or tips/ tricks for not fucking myself over mounting.
I have a 2021 Trail edition and wanted to do a rear mount or semi hidden front mount due to the size of the winch.

I’m hesitant to purchase a mount due to the size of the winch and if anyones had any bad experiences or just general advice for it. Also not trying to get a big steel bumper and have it rust out in 3 years and get new suspension.

I've done a mod or two
Where do you live that steel bumpers rust out? Second, if you think the bumper will rust out first you're in for a huge dissapointment when your frame is gone 5 years before the bumper even has a hole haha. That said look at US Off-road for a stock bumper winch mount.

Southern Ontario where they salt the roads at 3 degrees out. I’ve got the frame covered with fluid flim and I’ll come up with a more permanent solution next year.

Yikes, well I wish you the best of luck in that endeavor. I hear Krown does wonders for Toyotas since they're basically rust magnets.

I don't see anyway around that, between the winch itself and it stated it requires two 12 volt batteries.
