wondering if I can get some help with a wiring conundrum for my roofrack baja rock lights.

Installed the Uptop Alpha rack, plus scenepod/Baja rock lights. I’m wiring all four rock lights individually into the auxbeam- so I can have more control over scene lighting.

I started thinking (always a bad start) it would be awesome to get more use from the FRONT pair of rocklights and have them act like “puddles” on approach/unlock. Same function as the dome lights.

is This a crazy idea? Having them wired into the auxbeam switch AND some kind of dome-tap?

Cool idea, but check to see how many amps they pull, I'm thinking it's a bit more than a few small halo bulbs.
