You move up to a 6" lift?

Yeah. I didn’t officially measure how much my new coils gave me, but 6-7 is about how much the front is.

@Leo4x2 I think I read you needed a driveshaft spacer? I just crawled under my truck, and need one now. Do you still have yours? Where’d you buy it?

I’ve had this lift over a year now and I’m still loving it.. quick question.. the only thing that bugs me is the slight poke the front tires have compared to rear. I reached out to Maxtrac and said a rear whee spacer is not possible. Is that true? It’s not major, but....

No it's not true... I'm running TRD Pro wheels and went with hub-centric spacers (rear only). I also ran this lift on my 2009 and had spacers on all 4 wheels...(ran 16" wheels so I had to get the front wheels away from the spindle and UCA).

I have 1.5" spacers on the back of my 2017 and no spacers on the front.

Measure your track width before ordering spacers... I took Maxtrac's word that the front only increased by 0.75" per side... ordered 0.75" spacers but the rear still didn't poke out as much as the front.

I'm wanting to step up to a 6" lift as well... what method did you use to lift the front? What about the rear? Did you have to do anything to the brake lines?

So for the front, I’m using Bilstein 5100 and Toytec coils. As for the rear, AllPro Expo leaf pack, which gives 3 inches of lift, and a 2 inch block. I did put extended brake lines in the rear just to be safe.

Thanks... what shock do you run in the rear and how does it ride?

Extended 5100 in the rear. Real soft all around. Super happy with how I have it now

    COOL Stuff I can't afford . . . But I bought anyway!
    Hey all,
I bought a set of the 4" spindles for my 4x2 OR a year ago, but never installed them. They are the ones from Quality Suspension Advantage (QSA). Exactly the same as the maxtracs, minus the stamped logo and the price tag. I paid $440 for them. I traded the OR for a PRO and can't use them.

Anyone interested in buying them? I'd say $350 is fair. Brand new, still in box with wrapping. They come with the extended braided brake line too. Unfortunatly these things weight a ton, so shipping is not an option, unless you really want to pay. I'm local to the Calif. Bay Area, East Bay. Willing to drive and hour or two to meet as a half way. PM if interested.

This is my old 2017 SR 2.7 4x2 with maxtrac 4in spindles, 2in blocks and 1.25 wheel spacers in rear on 285s. Drove like factory minus the lack of power. 9F687268-7239-44DC-80F1-6A270899A53F.jpgD282BD33-6145-4949-86B4-8AC925813223.jpgF24007F6-D8A7-4767-B03C-AF22A376FD49.jpg

I was actually able to keep the stock wheels and throw on some 275/70r18 (33.2”) tires. I have absolutely no rubbing and probably could have done a 285/70r18 (34”). I had the taco lean problem and installed a toytec .5” spacer which fixed it perfectly. I am planning on adding a leaf pack soon because mine is 1/2” lower in the rear and I want to get a good amount of rake for putting shit in the bed. If any of y’all see this let me know what you think!

Are there factory wheels that can be run without spacers?

I’m not sure. I had to put 1.25” spidertrax wheel spacers on to clear the spindles. I should have mentioned that in the post.

Carrier Bearing Drop was enough. I thought I needed both the drop and the spacer but the spacer was too much.

So does 6" lift clear 35s with spindles at fulllock on reverse?
